Canadian Summer 2011

Stunning glacier in Courtenay BC Vancouver Island

When I watched the sun set over the spectacular horizontal glacier in the Comox Valley, it symbolized my Canadian summer was coming to a close. That in itself made my heart bleed. As I reflected on the wonderful places and people we visited it makes leaving our beautiful Canada endurable. We appreciated stand up visits in stores or on the street, dinners, walks, boat rides, lunches and shopping excursions too. We are so grateful and thankful to each person or family who offered us a bed (17 in total this summer) as we racked up over 4200km.
This much we know is true. Canada is a spectacular country; complete with beauty people and specacular landscape too.
