While we scurry about in anticipation and excitement getting prepared for our move to Jeddah, there are a few things in life that cut through the busyness in our lives. Remmie dog's recent passing was one. Remmie was 15 years old and brought tremendous joy, laughter and love into our lives. He had an uncanny ability to decifer family life and we deemed his purpose in life was 'to be with the one who needed him most'. Everyday the sun shone, he found a ray of sunshine to snooze in. We thank him for the continuious rays of light and love he streamed upon us. RIP dear Remmie Dog.

Family, Fun, and lots of Food

We were very fortunate to have our two sons and Tracie visit us last week. We realized we haven't all been together since the summer of 2007. Walking on the beaches, playing cards, splashing in the hot tub, eating turkey and fresh salmon, shopping, and getting our nails done were some of the new memories we created. Our time together was so much fun and as wise woman Tracie said, "It's just like we never left." Way to soon, Kyle and Tracie flew back to Alberta and Todd headed south to Victoria. We already are anticipating a fabulous family reunion in the summer of 2011. In the meantime, Skyping will keep us connected.

Hello to our friends who would like to hear about our upcoming adventures in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

We expect 'learning' will be our middle names in the coming years. This summer we have learned  how to become non-residents of Canada. We are still Canadian, just non-residents! We have also learned just how much we can accomplish in a short time frame. Tonight we are learning how to put together a blog!! We hope you will stay tuned as we proceed!
